On February 19, 2023, the cycling club Metković will organize the traditional XCP Stipe Čamber memorial cycling race in Vida for the eighth year in a row as part of the XC Winter League of Dalmatia. By organizing this race, we are honoring and preserving the memory of our prematurely deceased member Stipa Čamber.
BK Metković has been working intensively with children for years, so a children's race will be organized as part of the main race. Children will compete on a course appropriate to their age in the categories U7, U-9, U-11, U-13 and U-15, and our goal is to attract as many children as possible to spend time in nature and engage in sports. This year we went one step further by organizing a four-day MTB camp for children in cooperation with the Croatian Cycling Federation.
